Volunteer: Make a Difference

Be a part of our big picture: quality patient care. Our volunteers work with patients, support hospital staff, assist in our research labs, and more. We welcome you to join us in supporting the overall mission of Mass. Eye and Ear.

Volunteers:

  • Help extend our mission of service to each other and the community
  • Promote spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being
  • Demonstrate care and compassion to those in need
  • Gain self-satisfaction

Who can volunteer?

Our volunteer program runs seven days a week, days and evenings. You can select the time and day that works best for you. We seek volunteers age 14 and up, who can give at least three consecutive hours one day per week. Many of our student volunteers gain valuable experience in a hospital setting – all you need is the desire to volunteer your time and energy to Mass. Eye and Ear. We do our best to match your unique interests, skills, and talents to available volunteer positions, to provide a fun, rewarding experience.

If you are interested, please call Ruth Doyle, Director of Volunteer Services, at 617-573-3164 to learn more.
